I was approached by founder, owner, and teacher Rebecca Kimmel to design a website for Korpus School of Art + Gallery - a small, private art school with a focus on traditional, figurative art. Her goals were to give an impression of a high end, hip, elegant, and reliable studio + gallery. Classical sophistication is combined with a sense of newness through muted earth tones, textures, and patterns.

This project was part of a digital branding project for my senior thesis. Montaine is a trendy, high-end clothing line offering styles for men, women, and kids. The company's clothing mixes preppy with rock & roll. The aim was to provide easy user navigation through consistency in design, while maintaining a cool, clean, edgy look.

This project was for my advanced concepts class. After looking at historical events and styles of different periods in American history, I chose the 1910s and decided to design a website for a modern lounge influenced by 1910s ragtime music. Lounge-goers could enjoy live ragtime music while sipping on a drink or two and grabbing a bite to eat.

Part of my senior thesis included a complete rebranding of Bistro du Soleil: a rustic French bistro by the beach. The goal was to combine the rich, homey feel of a typical French bistro with the calm, cool, relaxed atmosphere of an oceanside restaurant.

This project was for a communication arts studio class. After choosing a book to read at the beginning of the semester and studying the themes, symbolism, and metaphors used in the novel, we translated the story into a poster for a book reading by the author. I chose the amazing Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go.

In addition to having an online presence, the Korpus School of Art + Gallery brand needed various printed collateral as well. In accordance with the style guide established during the initial stages of its web development, classical sophistication was combined with a sense of newness through muted earth tones, textures, and patterns.
